Integrated Bodywork
Amy Day, ND

I believe strongly in the healing power of touch. Many acute and long standing problems can be released by working directly with the body. I incorporate lifestyle and exercise counseling, mind-body connection awareness, and stress management into most sessions. Detailed medical questions will need to be addressed in a separate office visit. I have trained in massage, palpation, energy work, and naturopathic manipulative technique in order to expand the hands-on tools that I can offer. During an integrated bodywork session, you may receive a combination of any of the following techniques:
  • Swedish massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Positional Release Technique
  • Muscle Energy Technique
  • Trigger Point Therapy
  • Trager-like Work
  • Polarity Therapy
  • Reiki.
Each session is tailored to the individual. You may request the type of work that you feel is most helpful and I may suggest modalities that I feel would be most effective. Sessions last from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
